Erica Mitchell

Erica Mitchell was born on March 15th, 1979, and was laid to rest on Oct 13, 2023. Eric was a beloved member of our Southern Sportsman Hunting Lodge family for many years. Her smile and sweet personality will always be missed. Her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Mr. Frank

Mr. Frank was a very special friend that we called family. He became one of our family members years and years ago. Every year Mr. Frank would make the 1,100-mile drive from Northport, New York to Lowndes County Alabama to spend ten days with us in the heart of the Blackbelt. The January 2026 season was Mr. Frank’s last season with us. We will miss him and cherish the memories we made with him over the 25 seasons he spent with us.

Anthony

Anthony was a longtime friend of the Southern Sportsman Hunting Lodge family. He visited us from New York every deer season. He would come and go to the same stand every year. To honor him, we named the stand “Anthony’s Stand” so everyone who sits there will know a special person that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
